MCP Server

MCP Server

Connect Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients to your TRAIL Search data.

TRAIL Search runs an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. With an API key, your coding or work agent reads the same data the dashboard shows: the share-of-voice map, the weekly visibility report, today's next actions, and your articles. Read tools don't use credits.

What you can do

  • Check your market position: which brands are mentioned and cited, per question and engine.
  • Get the weekly report: visibility over time, question health, and content effort.
  • Get today's next action, or the setup steps left if onboarding isn't finished.
  • Read an article you wrote in TRAIL Search, with its outline and provenance summary.

How it works

  1. Issue an API key under Settings › Developer.
  2. Add the server URL and key to your AI tool (setup).
  3. Ask in plain language, for example "How did our share of voice change this week?"
